Woodturning Classes

Learn to turn a basic bowl from green wood. We will briefly cover topics of wood gathering and preparation, tool selection and sharpening, and basic form and design. The majority of the time will be spent hands on, turning on a Powermatic 3520a or Nova 3000 lathe.

All tools and wood are provided but you can bring along your own gouges if you wish. Class sizes are limited to 2 students per session and are booked in advance. Classes are held on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Cost is $125 per student. If Saturdays won't work for you, or you would prefer private lessons, give me a call for available times and rates.
